But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you

As Kingdom Citizens who have been ‘born again’, it is important to understand God’s priority for us. God’s number one priority for us is to “seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness” (Matthew 6:33) and this priority must take precedence in our lives.
To seek is to have a desire or a need for something with an expectation that the desire or need will in fact be fulfilled. As Kingdom citizens, what we seek is not hidden from us, but rather hidden for us to discover and understand the secrets of the Kingdom of heaven.
Fear not little flock, for it your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom.
luke 12:32
Because God’s good pleasure is to grant us the Kingdom, we have no reason to fear. As we walk in courage and the confidence of the Lord we seek the Kingdom at all times. Though life may present itself with circumstances that require significant faith, we must remember God’s priority for us especially during these times. The priority cannot be second to anything, any circumstance or any one.
